We are looking for a senior FPGA / Embedded Systems Engineer

We are expanding our R&D team, and are offering a permanent position with exciting and
diverse challenges to an experienced FPGA Designer with experience in Embedded
Systems and a broad range of skills and strong passion for problem-solving.

Main tasks in detail:

• Design, implementation and further development of FPGA designs for control,
  data acquisition and digital signal processing
• Conceptual design of new product generations
• Creation of HDL code (VHDL) for FPGA / SoC architectures (AMD/Xilinx)
• Hardware-related C / C++ programming on multicore SoC architectures
• Cooperation and coordination with electronics and software developers
• Advice to other teams (sales, production, support) in technical questions

Your profile:

• Experience in developing, simulating and debugging complex FPGA designs for
  high speed (Gb/s range) data processing systems – ideally several years of
  relevant professional experience
• Very good knowledge of VHDL and in dealing with common development
  environments for current FPGA and SoC architectures (e.g. Xilinx Vivado and
  Vitis)
• Confident handling of common tools for version management (e.g. GIT)
• Hands-on experience in using lab tools such as JTAG interfaces and
  oscilloscopes for evaluation and debugging
  *Knowledge of common interface standards (e.g. SPI, I²C, Ethernet) are an
  advantage
• At least basic knowledge of hardware-related programming (C / C++)
• Knowledge of (embedded) Linux / Yocto is a plus
