Members of the Geotechnical community in Germany gather at Technische Universität Braunschweig on January 19 for the Institut für Geomechanik und Geotechnik (IGG) ‘‘Messen in der Geotechnik 2026.’ Following the opening remarks by Marius Milatz and Joerg Gattermann, speakers from across Germany and beyond will discuss tunnel, cable car, radioactive waste repository, harbor wall, and other fascinating projects, as well as the tools used to measure them.
